For a hearty chowder that’s not thickened with flour, merely puree a portion of the soup in a blender. Mixing additionally provides the soup a creamier texture with out added milk or cream. Substances

  • 1/4 tsp freshly floor black pepper
  • 2 cups (280g) rotisserie-cooked rooster breast, shredded
  • 4 sprigs thyme for garnish, if desired

Instructions

In a big Dutch oven or soup pot, soften butter over medium-high warmth. Add onion, celery and garlic; sauté 2–3 minutes, or till tender.

Add broth, potatoes, corn, thyme, salt and pepper. Deliver combination to a boil, cut back warmth to medium-low, and cook dinner, stirring often, 10–quarter-hour till potatoes are tender.

Stir in rooster; cook dinner 2 minutes till combination is heated by. Switch 3 cups to a big blender. Take away stopper (if relevant), and canopy gap with a folded towel; mix till nearly clean. Stir into remaining soup combination. Ladle soup into serving bowls, and garnish with thyme, if desired.
